My love of tennis began when I was 3. The next door neighbours had a tennis court, and there they taught me the basics.
At 4 I joined the local tennis club and whenever I had spare time, you would find me on the court. From 10 to 17 I played junior regional and national tournaments in New Zealand and Australia. I was part of the Auckland squads and teams during this period. In my twenties I played First Grade and Caro Bowl Reserve.
I suffered a couple of injuries that kept me from playing tennis for a few years, but I still kept up with what was happening in the world of tennis. I couldn't wait to get back on the court. The injuries are well behind me, and I am more passionate about the sport than ever.
I am a qualified assistant coach and take great satisfaction in seeing my students progress.
When I'm not coaching or playing tennis, my other passion is surfing.
I look forward to seeing you on the court soon.
