FRANK ZHAO

My name is Frank Zhao, I have always found tennis a fascinating sport.

I started playing tennis when I was 10 (after begging my parents numerous times!) and played in many junior competitions in China.

I then moved to England to complete my bachelors degree in Food Science with Business at the University of Reading where I competed for the Mens BUCS University team. During this time, I completed my LTA coaching qualification and was offered a job coaching at Reading Sports Park.

Throughout my time coaching I have worked with players from 4 years old all the way to adults, ranging between complete beginners to county level.

I am incredibly passionate about coaching and have loved having the opportunity in my past and now with Kiwi Tennis to work with a variety of players. My coaching philosophy is that players should always enjoy themselves whilst improving and achieving individual goals, because hard work doesn’t feel like hard work when it is fun!
